Intro
Dear Friend of Lomography,

How great it must have been to witness pictures as they first started to move or to see the Lumiere Brothers amazing the crowds with their very first short films. After over 200 years of movie making, million-dollar-special-effects, big scale film studios and endless Hollywood dramas, we're giving you the chance to return back to the roots of movie making and witness the very first steps of moving Lomography.

The LomoKino – Super 35 Movie Maker

To become a true LomoMovie director, just simply wind the crank of the magic box to capture 144 shots on one roll of 35mm film – this will produce roughly 36 to 48 seconds of LomoMovie. You can use any kind of 35mm film for different effects: Slide film, colour negative, redscale or B&W. After you've loaded your film, you're ready to start making your own movie! You don't have to do anything to focus. Want to shoot closer than 1m? Just hold down the close-up button on the front of the camera and you can focus up to 0.6m!

The LomoKino – Super 35 Movie Maker
The LomoKino has continuous aperture settings from f/5.6 to f/11 – There is no step between each aperture, so you can effortlessly adjust the aperture setting at any time during shooting. To lighten up your movie use the hot-shoe mount on the top of the LomoKino to attach your favourite flash! And if you want to look like a true analogue director when shooting your LomoKino movies, attach the camera to a tripod and get ready for some steady Lomographic movie action!

The LomoKino – Super 35 Movie Maker
LomoKino's creative possibilities are so diverse that not even we can tell the limits. If you used slide film and processed it E6, spool it into the specially created LomoKinoScope and watch your Lomographs move over and over again. What about creating your own flip book? Print the photos, stack them and enjoy some homemade animation. Every lab can easily print your pictures, just like the photos made by the Lomography Supersampler camera. Scan the film and render a movie on your computer, then share your films with our likeminded community and achieve fame and glory.
