If you’re after flexibility and opportunities for creative shooting with your Canon EF and Nikon F mounts, the Neptune Convertible Art Lens System is a great choice for adventurous photographers. Recently, we spoke to Lomographer @michaclimb, a keen traveler, who chose this lens system for his exploration. With three focal lengths combined in one compact system, it was the ideal choice on a biking tour of the glorious landscapes of Sweden. Easy to carry, it allowed him to shoot soft, classically analogue images on the go. Read on to find out how he got on. |

“In my free time I travel a lot […] That’s why I was immediately enthusiastic about the Neptune system. Three different focal lengths so compact, great.”—michaclimb |

Michael shot many of his travels on Lomography Redscale XR film. An easy alternative to the classic technique where you shoot film through the ‘wrong’ side, it’s available in 35 mm and 120 formats and allows the super-cool effect with no effort! The wild child of photography, redscale film would party until dawn and come home with a bright red hue on its cheeks. But though rebellious, it also has a softer side. Like a hug from your grandma, but instead of a cozy sweater, you’re wrapped in vibrant colors. So go ahead, give redscale film a try. You’ll fall for its wily ways. |

At Lomography, experimentation only begins with the lens. There’s so much more to offer in film photography and the possibilities really are endless. Lomographer @agrimony knows this all too well and is always concocting a new plan to get creative with Lomography films and accessories. One such project is her ongoing love for film souping, and these souped-up snaps taken through the eye of the Neptune Lens System show us that Lomography Art Lenses are open to interpretation! |
