Oh, the creative things that you can do with the Lomo’Instant! With a light painting tool in one hand and the Lomo’Instant standing steady on Bulb mode, you can whirl, twirl, doodle, paint, and draw to your heart’s content for awesome light-painting instant photographs! You can also snap instant photos of bright city lights and beautiful light streaks for classic long-exposures. Turn off the lights and watch your words glow! Ask your friends to hold some glow sticks or light painting tools, hold the shutter button down and the camera will flash. After it has flashed, start writing words using the light painting tools. Take your finger off the shutter button to finish the exposure.

Find a good location with a good view of traffic or a brightly lit night-time scene. Press the shutter to take your long exposure photo, holding it for a few seconds (depending on the ambient light available) and releasing it to finish the exposure.

Place your camera on a tripod. Have your subject stand in a dimly-lit space, and make sure to have another friend nearby, ready with a light painting tool. Press and hold the shutter, and ask your subject to hold very still.
Your nearby friend can then move the light painting tool behind the subject to outline their silhouette. Once they’re done, take your finger off the shutter button to finish the exposure.

Turn off the lights and ask your friends to hold glow sticks or light painting tools. Press and hold the shutter button down and the camera will flash; after it has flashed, tell your friends to start doodling. When they’re done, take your finger off the shutter button to finish the exposure.
