This little beauty shoots square photos too, or you can double the amount of shots per roll of film with the half frame setting! That’s 72 photos! The Manchester Jazz Festival will be in full swing down at Albert Square so we’ll have a brief presentation in store on how to use the camera and then head down to capture some of the performances on film! The Manchester LomoWall on Tariff Street in the Northern Quarter is going to be the first ever permanent public LomoWall. That’s a pretty big deal! And how better to celebrate than with a whopping launch party? We’ll be kicking off the shenanigans in store from 7pm and you can to and fro to the wall throughout the night to check it out! Urban dance moves festival looks like it’s going to be a belter – what more could you ask for than various forms of street dancing on various apparatus? (We even saw some pictures of people dancing on cranes and diggers!) We can’t think of a better way to document such interesting movement than in movie form on the LomoKino! We’ll start in store, learn how to use it, load up a roll of film and then head to one of the performances. Read more
