* Friday April 6th @ 5:30pm – 7:30pm: Light Painting with the La Sardina
Discover the beauty of light painting with your La Sardina camera! This workshop will demonstrate the technique of light painting, using the La Sardina’s camera’s long exposure setting. Come to this workshop and learn how to create vibrant designs on your images using flashlights, sparklers and more!
* Saturday April 7th @ 1pm – 3pm: Andy Warhol Multi-lens Camera Mods!
Join us for a fun experimental workshop and learn how to produce images like Warhol’s famous colorful pop art prints. Using our multi-lens cameras we will experiment with colour gels to achieve this excellent effect.
* Saturday April 14th @ 1pm - 3pm: The Diana Dialogues
The little plastic camera that started 2 revolutions! Find out how the camera has affected trends and become a classic artistic tool for several generations of photographers. Discover all the incredible accessories, tips, tricks, and techniques!
* Sunday April 15th @ 2pm – 4pm: Black and White Development
For a cost of $20 this special workshop will teach you how to process your own black and white film. We will cover the entire progression from shooting to preparing the chemicals and successfully developing your film. Space is limited to six participants. A pre-requisite of a Lomography workshop or experience with 35mm film is suggested for this workshop.
* Saturday April 21st @ 1pm - 3pm: Dog Walk and Puppy Portraits
Bring your furry friend and show them some Lomo love! This workshop is designed for all dog lovers that want to capture their puppy’s loveable features on film.
* Sunday April 22nd @ 2pm - 4pm: LomoKino
We are shooting our own Lomography Gallery Store LomoKino Movie and need your help to do it! Whether you want to be the director, the actor/actress, the technician, the assistant or… all of them, join this FREE workshop, help us execute our movie and learn all about the LomoKino!
* Saturday April 28th @ 1pm - 3pm: Multiple Exposure Film Swap and Scavenger Hunt!
Come spend an afternoon in the park for a Lomo scavenger hunt! You will have 36 items to shoot with the La Sardina, but the game is not over till you rewind the film and hand it off to your partner to find another list of shots to multiple expose over yours! The first team to complete this challenge will receive cool prizes and Lomo recognition! Not only that each team will learn the amazing effects that is achieved with Multiple Exposure Film swapping, resulting in double exposure fun!
* Sunday April 29th @ 2pm – 4pm: Black and White Development
* Cost: $10 ($7 for students) ALL workshops include a loaner camera and a free roll of film. All participants will receive a 10% off coupon for the Lomography Gallery Store.
