LOMOWALL MANCHESTER LAUNCHES


It took us three weeks of hard work and determination, but it all paid off when we launched LomoWall Manchester on the 26th July. Located on Tariff Street in the Northern Quarter, LomoWall Manchester is made up of 14,000 individual photographs all taken on film, and all taken in Manchester. Want to have complete control over the shots that you are taking, rather than just simply pointing and shooting? Then the Lubitel is for you! Einav is our Lubitel lover extraordinaire from Australia where she exhibited her photography using her favourite Lomography weapon of choice. Einav thrives on travel portraiture photography and loves experimenting with film and exposure. Einav will cover this more advanced camera and will be teaching all the practical methods you need to get started and fall in love with this twin-lens beauty too. Read more

PICCADILLY BASIN 2012 CANAL FESTIVAL
August 18th, 2pm at Lomography Gallery Store Manchester

There is so much going on in Piccadilly Basin this summer. We’ve just launch LomoWall MCR, there’s going to be a drive-thru movie screening and Atelier Zero have created a mini Olympic Village! We’re going to be using one of their huts to host a workshop. As there’s so much to do and see what better cameras to use than our most action packed cameras. Take your pick between making a mini movie, or 360 degree panoramas. Meet at the store at 2pm, then we’ll head down to Atelier Zero. Read more
