Summer is almost over but just because you’ll be spending more time indoors now this is no cause for the blues. Lomography is coming to the rescue, giving you a fun-filled school (or office!) season as you start anew with a set of on academic adventures. This ain’t limited to school kids – everyone is invited to join!
Put your pencils down for a moment and pay due respect to the Diana Mini – the latest addition to the Diana F+ faculty. It’s perfect for the little folk to use in documenting their first days at school – and perfect for the grown up kids too. Diana Mini –Born a star in her own right, the super sweet “Mini” has got plenty of style and features to the nines. This small wonder’s special talent is its ability to switch between half-frame and square formats with the flick of a little switch – using the ultra convenient 35mm film! Shoot Forever, packing 72 shots onto one roll.
Throughout the entire Back to School with Lomography period, you will have the chance to test the Diana Mini out and see it for yourself! In exchange for a valid piece of ID at the Lomography Gallery Stores you will get a loaner Mini plus film for one day. There’s no excuse for not studying up on the new subject in the school of Lomography.

We have a Lomo Quattro Album waiting for you in the shop that needs its blank pages covered in your summer memories! You can paste in your photos, plane tickets, sea shells or draw and doodle on up to 2 pages with the winners awarded one of ten prizes!

From Tokyo to New York we’ve got special workshops going on at Lomography Gallery Store locations all over the world during the Back to School period. Find out which ones are happening near you and be sure to pencil them into your calendar.
Workshop 2 – “Physical Education”
Get some air and exercise by turning your city into a playground. Pack your Packrat XL with chalk, rope and your favourite play things.
Workshop 3 – “The Way to Lomography School”
The journey to school was always a learning experience that was just as important as the classroom. Just like our mums and dads used point out interesting things and teach little lessons, participants can show what things to be aware of as an analogue photographer while they walk.
Workshop 4 – “Swap Lunch – Swap Film”
The grass is always greener at you your neighbour's desk. That is why we have lifted trading to a new level with swapping your exposed film with another workshop participant.
Our back-to-school treat includes 1kg of film (31-34 rolls) as well as a free Packrat Bag XL along with your choice of a 1kg 35mm package (34 film rolls) or a 1kg Mixed Package (31 film rolls). Everything you need when you head out the door in the morning. Just grab your Packrat Bag XL and start snapping your day.
Document your first day at School with a new classmate. Or perhaps your first day at work with your new boss! We want to see and feel the excitement and the awkwardness that goes with first day memories! This rumble isn’t limited to students alone – everyone is invited to participate, as long as you keep the “My First Day at …” theme in mind! Maybe you would like to recreate a first day by dressing up or taking some snaps of a first haircut. What ever you come up with you should have your camera at the ready because firsts only happen once! Join the Rumble!
