May we present with great pride, The Zorki 1.A fine looking fellow, we think you’ll agree.Maybe that’s because the Zorki was originally designed as a copy of the Leica II? Don’t look so shocked!Everyone was doing it back in the days of the old Iron Curtain. The first Zorki was manufactured after the Second World War at the KMZ factory in Moscow with the help of engineers on loan from the Fed factory. To begin with the Fed name was engraved on the Zorkis giving rise to the name the Fed-Zorki.Therefore the early Zorki models looked very similar to the Feds. The camera represented new blood in Soviet rangefinder history and the Zorki 1 is an essential link in our Russian deadstock mission! What a shocker! As you can imagine, these Zorkis are a real catch, completely limited and the stuff collectors dream of! It’s first come first served. |

Forgive us for being a bit sentimental. When we find any long-lost member of the Lomo family it makes us want to take a trip down memory lane and drop in on the others. |
