Lomography World Congress
Dear Friends,

You have been busy as bees these last few weeks, uploading photos, building virtual LomoWalls and signing up for the Lomography World Congress London 2007. With all the technical work done, it is now time to prepare for the practical part of the journey. And that is where we come in.

The work on the congress program is in full throttle, and while the Lomography crew on-site is scouting locations, our artists and expert Lomographers are preparing their favorite tips and tricks for the workshops, as others are hiding clues for their treasure hunts.

And as if that were not enough already: the Vienna HQ team is working on the ultimate Lomography World Congress London 2007 guide, stuffed with all that Lomographic essentials vital for your survival in the concrete jungle.

Until August 12th, registrations will still be accepted for the congress pack without accommodation at the regular price for all those that still haven't made up their mind. For the congress pack with accommodation we can still accept some registrations. However, as already announced, this option is only available at an increased price. Check the SIGN UP section on the congress page for more information.

For all those already registered: now all you have to do is have patience. In late August all the program details (on all events and the people behind them) will be featured online and the final registrations for the single workshops will be made available and sent right to your inbox.

We are excited about meeting you in London and wish you a great summer.

If we left any questions open, please contact us at congress@lomography.com

Update on the LomoWall Competition
Proudly we have been following your contributions to the ever-growing collection of LomoWalls, while the Archive team has been doing their best in turning your Lomographic dream into reality. The LomoDesign team is brainstorming on the best solution to combine the endless pallet of LomoWalls, and with every day, the LomoWorldWall is coming a few inches closer to realization.

Even Bigger LomoWalls
Dry your eye! We have been following your desperate cries about the "too few LomoWall panels" and are pleased to present to you the newest feature to our LomoWall building tool: BIGGER LOMOWALLS!

This means: You are no longer restricted to 2x2 blocks. You now have access to up to 16 panels (all to yourself, so be selfish!) and can thus construct LomoWalls in up to 4x4 blocks.

A New Beginning
As veterans in LomoWall building, we know that with the size of the wall, also the content sets to change. Until now, most contributions have been rather graphic, often showcasing letter and picture constructions, the single Lomographs getting lost in the larger structure. What we ask you to focus on now is the formal content of your single images, promising abstract results and crazy surprises when the viewer gets up close and personal with your LomoWall section.

Here some ideas:

Go International

You Lomographers are all the same; you all just want the one thing: your very own LomoWall on Trafalgar Square. So why not share the passion and collaborate with your LomoBuddies across the world?

1) Register with a new username. You can choose that username according to city, region or theme. For instance: LomoWallVienna, if you were a LomoWall team situated in the city of Vienna.
2) Share the login data (username and password) with the chosen ones.
3) Set up some editing time slots to avoid chaos - who will be building on the wall at what times?
4) Stay in contact: update your friends on the progress. Work on the wall and refine it until you love what you see.
5) Done? Publish it! Use your private usernames as tags, so we know who to credit. Fame is yours!
