The Lomo LC-A, queen of all snapshot cameras, beloved centrepiece of the Lomographic Society and the recently incarnated, Chinese-styled hipshot wonder, finally comes into its very own.
A dazzling array of at least two LC-A(+) books are planned for publication in 2007 and are waiting for YOUR contribution. Read on to find what our dreams are all about.
Listen up: we want everybody who has ever had a Lomo LC-A or LC-A+ around their hips to participate in this historic event. To manage the expected amount of images, we developed a brand new system for submissions, in four stages. The advantage of this is it will allow you to easily organize your images, as well as for us to organize your contributions. Stage 1 (LC-A classics – colour negative film and single exposures) is kicks off right NOW and is awaits your submissions for the next two weeks. A new stage will be launched every week. Watch out for the deadlines as we will not accept any images for stages that have already passed.
Oh yes, and there is also a twentyfive (25!) image upload-maximum for each stage: so take care to upload only the crème de la crème of your shots!

Don’t fret dear Lomographers, there is still more to come…With the published editions of our Holga and Fisheye books within the last year, a little voice in the back of our heads soon became louder and louder and louder. We listened, and as a result we are proud to present you with the biggest celebration of Lomo Kompakt Automat culture ever. Firstly, the little LC-A+ bible, featuring masses of images, tips & tricks, Lomographers inside stories and other essential information, and secondly, the splendid, first volume of a HUGE Lomographic book trilogy - yet to be revealed. This LC-A book will contain a yet unknown plethora of unbelievable Lomo-facts and even more pages of bananashaking LC-A and LC-A+ images than you could ever dare to dream of! So, friends, get that upload finger into shape and ready to press submit: we are talking serious coffee table book business here!
