The holidays are upon us once again! Got all your stuff organised? Presents wrapped? Chestnuts roasting on an open fire? Hung the mistletoe?.... No? Neither have we! But we are feeling full of festive cheer and we want to spread it around!

It’s the time of year when you sit back and soak up everything that has happened. It has been a great year for Lomography. Loads of exciting things have happened. The launch of the Diana+, the 3rd Lomography Congress in London, the biggest Lomowall ever, shops springing up in Bejing, Hong Kong and Paris. That is not even the tip of the iceberg! There will be an End of Year newsletter next week where you can get a full run down of 2007 for Lomography! Of course, we know that none of it would be possible without your continuing support. Amazingly, we are already touching the 3.6 million upload mark! It’s great that you guys share our enthusiasm and get so involved in the missions, competitions and events on Lomography.com.

All that remains to be said is thanks a lot for a great year! We look forward to what 2008 brings and wish you the best of everything for the New Year! A very merry Yule to you all!

The Holidays are the most magical time of the year, right? Spending your days with your nearest and dearest joking in front of the fire and gathering around the piano for a good old sing-song? Hmmm. In all honesty the Holidays can be a test of endurance. It can be tough on body, mind and wallet. Show us how you make it through!

We want you to take one photo per day from 25th December to 1st January to show us “How I survived the Holidays”. Please give us a sentence or two about how each photo sums up the day. The best survival kits will feature on our blog and will receive a surprise Lomographic festive goodie bag bursting with fabulous shiny treats. The deadline for this challenge is Monday 7th January 2008 and the format for your submissions is 768 x 512 for 35mm or 550 x 550 for medium format. Remember, it’s good to share!
