Introducing the LomoAmigos - our friendly Lomo LC-A+ community project
Meet the very first crew: our esteemed "Tres Amigos"
Juicy and action-packed live blogging from Photokina 2006

As handsome, charming, and sweet-smelling as it is; the LC-A+ is a lonely and unproductive soul without a Lomographer behind the lens. When you consider the big picture, it's those hyperactively creative shooters and their mind-blowing snapshots that make up the tasty meat and potatoes of our Lomographic movement. In that spirit, we are thrilled to present the LomoAmigos - a stimulating and on-going presentation of the lives, loves, and primo snapshots of bona-fide friends of Lomography. The participants will be a diverse mix of seasoned Lomographers, wild creative professionals, awesome musicians, hardcore photo-honchos, short-order chefs, and randomly friendly folks. With an LC-A+ in their hands, they'll shoot their passions and give us the whole truth about their Lomographic motivations & inspirations. Extend your hand, chirp a cheery "hola," and prepare to meet the Amigos.

Like the hard-nosed & forever intrepid Lomographers that they are, the first group of 3 LomoAmigos accepted their assignment without a moment's hesitation. Without a dilly or a dally, they took the LC-A+ into their fingers and used its dazzling new capabilities to expose a rocking cross-section of their life. Have a peek inside.

Daily blogging, photos, and rambling from michaelkuhle

After two planes, three cups of coffee, four beers, and one showing of "Akeelah and the Bee," I landed in Cologne and made my way to the Lomography booth. The only way to describe it is HUGE! The 20 meter (way the hell over 60 feet) long Lomowall of everyone's submissions is stunning. And we've got a great crowd milling around at all times - with the "build your own LomoWall" proving especially popular. For the next three days, I'll be running around like a chicken without its head and posting a constant stream of photos & rambling on our Lomographic Blog. See the fair through my eyes by checking in regularly. And if you haven't done so already, then subscribe to the blog via RSS to get the updates hot off the press!
