LomoKikuyu makes you happy
Sheena tried everything: a new haircut, eurhythmy, bungee jumping, pilates, karaoke, golf, collecting stamps. But still, nothing could make her happy – until her friends from the Lomographic Society told her the following: “Sheena, together we can make the world a better place. We will give you a book, and you can donate a tiny bit of your money to an eye clinic, so that a blind person can see again. Plus, we want your snapshots and we are giving away hundreds of cameras and a round trip to Africa for that. Isn’t this the easiest and most effective deal EVER?” Sheena said yes, and ever since then she has been the happiest person in the world – and guess what: you can be too!

Know the deal?
For all those who haven’t heard of it yet: LomoKikuyu is a charity project by the Lomographic Society, and it’s as easy and as useful as it can possibly get: you donate 30 or 15 Euros/USD, receive a friendly little book for yourself, and save the eyesight of a blind person in Kenya. Learn more about it here: www.lomography.com/kikuyu and donate your money here:

You can also donate if you are already happy – we promise that you that you’ll be even happier!

Joy for everyone
Now tell us if this isn’t the easiest calculation ever conceived: your donation will make a blind person in Africa happy, which will make you happy, which makes us happy. Hooray! But it’s still getting better. The Lomographic Society feels the deep desire of making everyone everywhere in the world as cheerful as a cucumber and calls for the LAST WEEK of its LOMOKIKUYU ONLINE COMPETITION. Upload your shots regarding the topics ‘eyes’ and ‘what would you want to show somebody who has just had their eyesight restored?’ and be in for winning:
