Friend! We’re sure that you remember our LomoKikuyu campaign. It’s all about a friendly little Eye Hospital in Kikuyu/Kenya, the curing of hundreds of thousands of seeing disorders, and a 144-page book with wonderful images and text that details the existential significance of being able to see, to look – which is a key Lomographic issue, wouldn’t you say? So come and have a look: as this is all about YOU participating in this project, donating 30 or 15 Euro or USD and help to save somebody’s eyesight in Kenya.

Along with announcing this campaign, we have also launched the big worldwide LomoKikuyu online photo competition. ‘What would you like to show somebody who has just had their eyesight restored?’ That’s a good question Jimmy, so put on your boots, browse through your archives and pop out your camera to submit the finest, most wonderful and breathtaking of pictures regarding this topic. Likewise, upload your shots to the subject ‘Eyes’ and you are in for winning a prize that will fulfil you forever with joy: no less than 100 top-secret Lomography cameras, 10 Horizon Kompakts and 1 Round trip to Kikuyu/Kenya are waiting for you!
