The Lomographic Society International Proudly Presents

A shadowy flight into the life of a Polaroid that has not existed for the better part of 15 years. Crafted in the late 1980’s, the Polaroid impulse was immediately recognized for its rubber-grip ergonomics, exceptional imaging ability, and cutting-edge style. Shooting 600-series film (the most common Polaroid variety), the Impulse proclaimed your suave fashion sense to the world without making a sound. And it took some slamming photos along the way.

- Integrated close-up lens for tight focusing
- Pop-up flash
- Authentic retro electric-red stripe detailing & grey-black design scheme
- Rubber grips for ease of handling
- Uses easy-to-find & very lovely 600-series Polaroid film

From the Desk of John Betts
The Impluse was designed by Mr. John Betts and released to the public at large in 1988. This prolific gentleman was also behind 1981’s “Water & Power” exhibit at the Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry, 1989’s “Microwave 2-Cup Coffee Maker” by Faberware, and a smattering of other Polaroid cameras, including the “Captiva,” “Spectra,” and “Procam.” Over his career, Mr. Betts has one countless awards and accolades for his Industrial Design work. These days he is a successful NYC-based dealer of fine minerals and crystals.
