Eating is consuming, gluttony, gnawing, tasting, snacking, feasting, wallowing, and a pleasure; cooking is working with this revelry, these treasures. "Festkochen" (German for: cooking feast, cooking firmly, cooking a good deal) is anything but a normal cookery book. "Festkochen" is a gesamtkunstwerk comprised of the interplay of guests, food, images, stories, locations, music, visuals, conversations, spices, dancing, fun & games. It's a guide to excellent cooking and serious partying, based on a cookery competition held in Austria last year. |
