Dear LomoPlayers,

Once again the LomoYear is not beginning with a detailed programme of the projects to bring Lomographic Happiness but casually, with a memento. All the peering, oggling, eyeing-up, fixating, incorporating and colouring has come to an end, we find ourselves in the last phase of the Lomography World League Games. Here is an overview on the last local events for qualification to the WorldCongress 2004, and the last warning for immediate submission of LWL artwork. Get your pictures on that poster now and send it ASAP to your closest embassy or directly to the Vienna Headquarters.

[ A note off the record: If you can't meet the exact deadline you might experience the famous grace of the WorldArchiveBoss! ]

::: I Lomo You in Sao Paolo

For André Takeda and his team of enthusiastic lomographers it was only a matter of time before they decided to launch a São Paulo Lomographic Embassy, having discovering lomography in 2002. For them Lomo = Love. As a result they engaged 20 lomographers from all around Brazil to find their Lomographic inspirations for the I Lomo You exhibition. More than 1000 lomographs will be shown on Feb. 3 at the Piola restaurant. The opening of the show also marks the launch of their new website and celebrates the inauguration of the embassy. André Takeda, Luciano Munhoz, Cassiano Saldanha, Emmanuel Martins and Ana Lucia Mariz are already working on new Sao Paolo LomographicActivities, some of them also in cooperation with the Brazilian Lomography Lady Ambassador Filipa in Rio.
