M_I_N_S_K :: Back in the days of 1973, the BelOMO factory of Belarus introduced the charming Vilia. With its multi-element "Triplet" lens, fully manual controls, and color saturated images, millions throughout the Soviet Union (clicked!) away with their Vilia's until production ceased in 1986.
L_O_N_D_O_N :: The present day. Over a cup of excellent tea, one of the Lomographic Society's dearest friends in the UK makes an offer - a limited quantity of rare Vilias, anywhere between 17 and 30 years old, safely stored in their stately warehouse, never opened, and in their original packaging.
Y_O_U :: Now have the opportunity to own one of these exceptionally rare Soviet gems. Still proudly emblazoned with "Made in USSR," a total quantity of only 250 pieces is available exclusively for the Lomographic community.
