THE RESULTS
-------------------------------------------
We do have to admit that our passion for foolhardy, provocative and somewhat illustrious LomographicCompetitions knows almost no bounds whatsoever. And yet the drawn out nights that the jury spent adjudicating the Lomographic World League 2002 proved to be an unparalleled test of the boundaries of our ability to simultaneously endure pain and pleasure. The global buzzwords read 'Complete your own Lomographic World League Poster with 16 outstanding pictures on nifty subjects around your life and life beyond you...' The results overwhelmed us: thousands of immense pictorial documents that boiled our blood, brought us out in cold sweat and broke our hearts, all in the best possible manner.

So we shall simply publish, uncommented, the following memo in the words of the jury's spokesperson, Emeritus Professor Penelope Q., after the most exciting jury session to have gone down in the Lomographic Society annals:

"To all LWL2002 competitors in the LomographicWorld nation, You were mercilessly unique! Every single one of the hundreds of posters was truly distinctive. 9 professors, totalling 873 years of experience together, and numerable online votes have provided an unsparing and highly accurate gauge of the placing for the World Champion title. Now the work is done. Vladimir is on the way to his bride Albina, the Radionov trophy and 16 gold, silver and bronze medals have been awarded. Congratulations, and my profound respect to all!"

Signed: Emeritus Professor Penelope Q.

BBC DOCUMENTARY
-------------------------------------------
The one hour Film on the history of the Lomographic Society International fascinated us, moved us to tears and simply knocked us of our collective feet! But according to the BBC reception analysts we are clearly not the only ones! Chapeau, Alex Graham, chapeau! We'll be sending out a list of scheduled broadcasts soon, for all those who missed it or couldn't pick it up locally.

CREAM & MILK
-------------------------------------------
Two exquisite design and lifestyle magazines in Hong Kong have indisputably created the most extensive and most beautiful reports to have been found in the print media in recent years. John Leung Hau Fung documented the goings-on at the Lomography World Congress 2002 at the 10th Jubilee in Vienna in minute detail for a 20 page feature in Cream, and The Best Of Lomography World League Poster is being presented on a weekly basis in Milk.
