+ The Holga Flash Starter Kit by Lomography + |
![]() Holga Flash Starter Kit Our passion for the incredible Holga has inspired the creation of this "Holga Flash Starter Kit," a one-box crash-course in the use, mastery, and unconditional loving of this oversized and toy-like medium format camera. Conceived as the ultimate photographic training tool, a dead-simple and inexpensive camera that uses professional-grade medium format film. Little did the designers know that Holga’s production quirks (cheap plastic lenses, irregular seams) would beget its most prized attributes. [ www.lomography.com/holga ] / |

+ Lomo Calling + |
![]() Documentary on the Lomo Camera on BBC 4 on April 28th, 2003 For the whole of last year we had a relentless companion following our LomographicFootsteps. Alex Graham, a director and producer at BBC, was working on a filmic stock take of the LomographicWorld, its history and the people involved. Every bit as attentive as he was thorough, Alex followed us from one Lomographic Embassy to the other, from one exhibition to the next event, from the morning meetings to the waltzings of the last night-owls. He followed us around St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vienna, Hong Kong, the Caucasus, Paris, London, Lisbon... He riddled us with questions, rummaged meticulously through our archives for old film footage of exhibitions, parties and tours, and for ten thousand Lomographs...The BBC documentary will be screened during the upcoming months in NYC, LA, San Jose, Washington D.C, Chicago at the local LomoEmbassies. If you are interested to get a copy of the documetary, please contact the press office. For more detailed information about the screening schedule please contact Lomographic Society USA, Ulli Barta at 718 5224353 x 205. [ BBC Four ] / |
