FAKE

The hyper active Taiwan Embassy is calling upon truth-seeking Lomographers
to shoot Lomographs on the theme of FAKE: What is
it going to be? Reality or fiction? This competition is being staged
in collaboration with 'egg' magazine (deadline: 15 April),
which will then publish the best results in their may issue.

LOMO SOUND SYSTEM
------------------------------------------
The second competition is at the invitation of the LOMO SOUND
SYSTEM. Express sound with pictures, music and freestyle
improvisation. Additonally to the competition you will be able to
see an exhibition (4-18 April, 5-11pm) with Lomographs by our ambassadors
Damien Brachet and Liu and Skit. These 3 Lomographers were heavily
inspired by the combination of free jazz, dub and Lomography.

On the 10th of April you can witness a 360° panoramic view of
the Los Angeles landscape through the lense of a Lomo. The 'Landscape
from Los Angeles'. This is a one night only event, so you
better make sure you go there if you are in the LA area. The event
is at the Lost&Found in Hollywood.

SPRING FLING

More down south, in San Diego to be more precise, Lomographers are
uniting to herald the return of the sun. The SPRING FLING
event, a LomographicScavengerHunt through the city of San Diego
(19 April thru 4 May) including topics like 'Off Da Heezie Fa Sheezie',
'Mi casa, su casa' and many more that will get you scrambling through
the city.

Samurai
LOMO:JAM

For all our Danish Lomographers be sure to go to the Samurai
LOMO:JAM at Galleri C-kunsten at DGI-Byen, Copenhagen on
10 April from 7pm to midnight. What is it? An exhibition disguised
as a party, and the other way round! You will be able to witness LomographicVisuals
along with the finest dj sounds, and you will be able to meet the
pulsating Copenhagen in-crowd.

If you happen to be in Portugal, be sure to visit the 'Whatever
wherever however forever LOMO' art exhibition, with Lomographs
from our ambassadors and many more Lomographers. A private view is
being held on 10 April, and the exhibition then runs for a month until
10 May at MODALISBOA design.
