what the hell is the WORLD.BROWSER ??
step by step , this lomographic dream should transform into
a real-time interactive snapshotportrait of our planet. a
online mosaic of lomographs, picture-izing the whole surface
of the world, and accessible by an interactive worldmap.
carefully,
the map should be filled with a premium selection of lomographic
cityshots. shots that show the soul of the cities, shots that
tell us more than even the best city guides, shots that are
made by lomographers for lomographers. therefore, we decided
to not just link all our existing lomohomes and photocontent
into the worldmap, but to develop a full strategy to obtain
the very best city shots and the highest possible degree of
success.

the first pictures visible on our green spinning globe were
the so called CITY.TIPS. the message was clear. if you want
to map your lovely lomohome on the WORLD.BROWSER, you have
to carefully fill out the new CITY.TIPS section. show the
world where or how you can get the best food in your city.
show them the best places to lose money, to inhale music,
etc... you are the best possible guide for thousands of touring
lomographers. tell them your secret tips and how to get from
A to B. present your city in the best possible way, through
gorgeous lomographic content.

starting exactly now, we will open another big gateway into
the WORLD.BROWSER, thereby flooding the map with thousands
of your best cityshots. In addition to the shots of your own
city, this new worldbrowser category will can filled with
all the cityshot masterpieces that you collected throughout
the whole world. you just have to browse your albums in the
lab and enter the shotlocation to your favorite shots. if
these shots are really suitable to support the WORLD.BROWSER
project (as they show aspects/parts/moments/moods of the city)
then you can connect them to our ever expanding online map
with just one single click. did you go on a package tour of
Europe recently: maybe 5 cities in three days. looks like
you have 5 hungry citysections to fill, my friend!

once you have completed the CITY.TIPS in your lomohomes and
have connected your 1456 best cityshots from around the globe,
you may feel like a little rest. BUT, you should fight this
feeling and start thinking about one important question: how
can I further contribute to the timely completion of the world
map. two things should be compulsory:

from now on, you should stop visiting cities already documented
on our worldbrowser. please plan your next trips strictly
to the white spots on the WORLD.BROWSER. greenland, anyone?
